Hi My Beautiful People!!

With this last OOTD of this year, here is wishing you all a very happy New Year. This year was awesome and so great. Thank you all for all the love and support you have shown for my little space here. I am so grateful to you and I am so humbled for where my blog stands today. Without your love and support it would not have been possible at all. So here is my heartfelt gratitude. I wish the New Year brings in lots of happiness, success, joy and a better life to all of us. I love you all and thank you for staying with me.

As the weather has been so kind these days in Doha, it is a real treat to go out and just enjoy the sun by the beaches, to go the park or just take a walk by the Corniche. Today I went with my girls to Katara Cultural Village for a casual hangout followed by Dinner and some nice Tea by the sea side. This place is one of the major tourist attractions as well as a nice hangout for us residing here. There are the choicest of restaurants serving all kind of Mediterranean Cuisine, bakery, small tea shops and snack shops. Basically it is a complete retreat and a great experience to have out of our busy lives.

For today's Casual Evening Out I decided to wear something that would keep me warm and nice and something that is also a little edgy and stylish and comfortable at the same time. Paired my black leggings with a classic white shirt and layered the shirt with a high neck asymmetrical hemline sweater. Threw in the leather jacket on top of it to keep me even more warmer in the breezy chilly winter evening. To complete the outfit donned my most favourite pair of Boots with those killer pencil heels and accessorized with a choker and my faux furr clutch that I got from Christmas sales this year.

Boyfriend Love

Happy Thursday !!

Introducing my first ever Boyfriend Denim. I have been on the lookout for this dapper since a very long time until this V-day shopping spree as I mentioned in the previous post. It is an irony that I found it on V-day and it has now become my most loved pair of denim ever. I am not that a denim kind of person but this one has changed my mood completely. I wear it every single day these days with all possible pairings. This goes well with a crisp cotton shirt, a sweatshirt, a crop top, a well tailored blazer or even a boyfriend blazer. I mean, you name it and you have this pair of denim rocking your look and your outfit anyday, anytime. Never thought it would turn out to be such a versatile number. Totally in Love with it now. I know am a little late on getting my hands on this bad boy and I do regret not having it earlier in my life. Nevertheless better late than never right?

Monochrome Obsession

Happy Monday people!!

How have you been and how was the Valentine weekend? I mean what else can we ask for right!! A good weekend to celebrate the day of Love. As for me, if you had read my last few posts, I had mentioned that I am miles away from the love of my life at this moment. We did not get to see each other this V-Day. We just had an online date through Skype over a cup of coffee and some cake. Hahahaha this sounds cheesy but it was fun. Nevertheless I channelized the rest of  my day on doing something that every girl loves to do. Shopping guys!! For a very long time I had been looking for a pair of distressed boyfriend denim and finally I found my perfect pair. Can't wait to style them for the next post already.

Today's outfit post is all about what I wore for my "Me-Time" shopping spree. Of late the weather here is constantly changing everyday making it difficult for me to predict if it's going to be warm or cold outside. Hence I decided to step out of my house prepared for both the situations. Being a sucker for black, I wanted to wear an all black outfit but finally ended up opting for a monochrome one instead. Threw a fur vest over a black blazer and a striped top paired with black treggings and black heels. Talking about these heels, I must say these are my most favourite ones, specially for two reasons. The first being, it's a birthday gift from my sweet, little brother. The second reason being it's comfort. These bad boys are so comfortable that I could easily roam around in them all day long without even feeling a thing.

As you browse through the pictures, you will notice that eventually I had to remove my blazer as suspected. Preferred to still put on the fur vest to add some element to the look. Keeping the grey vest in mind, accessorized the look with a silver statement neck-piece  and a blue messenger bag to go with the cool tone of the entire outfit.

I thoroughly enjoyed this day of love to the fullest doing what I love to do, though I missed my darling Husband, until I found the pair of denims :) ...

This is How We Do!!

Happy Friday!!

Hi my lovely people out there!!
As I mentioned earlier, my days have now become a little more busier than before. Still learning to manage and juggle my time between work, shoots, editing and writing posts. I miss not being able to frequently update my blogpost. Earlier I used to post like 5 to 7 times a month , but it's only my second post this year. However I will resume my blogpost as frequently as I used to do earlier once everything falls in place in another month's time. As for now, my working hours are a little odd here with just a day off on the Fridays. I really salute my fellow bloggers who work full time and are so regular with their posts.

The idea of doing an indoor shoot is new to me and I felt like experimenting. Was the outcome good? Frankly I am not convinced, but nevertheless the bff photographer Foram and I had a ball doing this shoot. I have known her for the past eight years now. She is one of my biggest support system here. We decided to shoot this at her place in my most favorite corner of the room. This post is all about what we "The Fashion Enthusiast" girls end up doing in a sleepover at each others place. The beautiful colour blocked dress that I am wearing here with the golden bellies are all courtesy Foram. What appealed to me the most about this dress is the colour combination of royal blue and bright yellow that screamed Spring which is just around the corner. Can't wait enough for Spring to arrive with all those colours and magic in the air, coz Spring reminds me of those vibrant pretty flowers, reminds me of Cuckoos singing in my garden, reminds me of Music and Cheerfulness all around and reminds me of the pleasant gift of nature after the harsh winters. This Spring I also intend to revisit Paris as they say it's the best time to be there.

By the end of the shoot I was so smitten by the idea of welcoming the next season that I wanted a spring element in everything I was wearing. I tried her vibrant bright neckpiece from Zara which I think went really well with the dress and my mood.
So this is basically how we girls like to have quality, productive, leisure time by trying out numbers from each others wardrobe and by styling outfits.

Love Returns

Heya Lovelies!!! Happy Thursday

This outfit post is just another self-proclamation of being a Crazy-Cat-Lady.

This little gorgeous kitty charm is the first ever bag charm that I had owned after my first kitty came into my life. Named this charm after her "Laaila".

They say that cats are not as expressive and friendly as a dog, if at all we have to compare the both as pets. I am an animal lover, so I would not compare, but this statement just came into my mind when yesterday Laaila (my darling) had done something which was totally unexpected. She is a mother of two and is very compassionate when it comes to little baby's cries ( be it anything - human babies, animal babies). If she happens to hear any "baby-cry" she will try to find out whom and where is it coming from and try to find and fix the problem. We have noticed this when we were either watching a movie or watching any videos. On the contrary, cats are supposed to be hunters, but Laaila cannot even kill a lizard. Such a gentle soul she is. What happened yesterday- my husband and I were just pulling each others leg. He was bullying me for fun and I was just pretending to cry. I know, crazy and childish moments right?! That is when the magic happened. Laaila heard me cry. Poor thing, she thought I was actually crying. She came to me, touched me with her paw, looked at me with those curious loving eyes, asking me whether or not I was fine, why was I crying? She then gave my hubby a dirty angry look and sat back staring at us. We tried the same trick again in front of her and she would again react the same. I mean can you imagine? All her life I have treated her like my baby and today she has become so loving, so caring and so sensible that she treats me like her baby too.  Laaila and my hubby are the bffs, loves each other a lot, as they have lived together more than my hubby and I did. I used to live in a different country for work. I liked how she tried to scold her bff (the culprit) like a mother, when she thought it was appropriate to. She expressed herself effortlessly and naturally. We hugged her and confirmed to her that everything was fine and that, we were just playing around. Only when she saw and understood, she left us alone to go back to her own world.
When I said she is compassionate and gentle, at the same time, she acts very pricey and royal or rather have a "touch-me-not " kinda personality. She does not express a lot in general. So it was a pleasant shock and sweet surprise for us when Laaila had acted the way she did. We love her to bits and now we know she loves us back. The biggest thing is, it is unconditional from both the sides.

November Nostalgia

 Hello November!!!

Hey Lovelies!!

It's November yeahhhhh!! I am excited and nostalgic as It's my birth month and this year I will be crossing one more decade of my life. Three Decades!! Nevertheless, ready to embrace the next phases of my life in the coming years in possibly all the roles I am ought to play. For today's outfit, when I was browsing through my cupboard, I realised I have not put on a pair of denims for a very long time now. I can't tell you enough how I used to love wearing denims when I was growing up. So, I thought of wearing a pair today it being begining of November and all those nostalgia. The way I used to style  a pair of denim before was lot more different than the way I do now. A muscle tee, a graphic tee or any T-shirt would do the trick then. Now, I like to add on some more details to my pair of denim with a plain T-shirt. A statement neckpiece and a blazer helped me this time to add that weight in the personality of the outfit, which I guess fits in with my taste and age.
