Urban Gypsy

Hi my lovely friends,

Today's post is all about my take on a gypsy soul which inhibits in me.
I do not belong to one place, I do not confine myself to be ruled by certain norms. Having said that I do not declare that I am a complete rebel. This is just the little Moonchild that grew within me, a part of me...

Last OOTD of 2015

Hi My Beautiful People!!

With this last OOTD of this year, here is wishing you all a very happy New Year. This year was awesome and so great. Thank you all for all the love and support you have shown for my little space here. I am so grateful to you and I am so humbled for where my blog stands today. Without your love and support it would not have been possible at all. So here is my heartfelt gratitude. I wish the New Year brings in lots of happiness, success, joy and a better life to all of us. I love you all and thank you for staying with me.

As the weather has been so kind these days in Doha, it is a real treat to go out and just enjoy the sun by the beaches, to go the park or just take a walk by the Corniche. Today I went with my girls to Katara Cultural Village for a casual hangout followed by Dinner and some nice Tea by the sea side. This place is one of the major tourist attractions as well as a nice hangout for us residing here. There are the choicest of restaurants serving all kind of Mediterranean Cuisine, bakery, small tea shops and snack shops. Basically it is a complete retreat and a great experience to have out of our busy lives.

For today's Casual Evening Out I decided to wear something that would keep me warm and nice and something that is also a little edgy and stylish and comfortable at the same time. Paired my black leggings with a classic white shirt and layered the shirt with a high neck asymmetrical hemline sweater. Threw in the leather jacket on top of it to keep me even more warmer in the breezy chilly winter evening. To complete the outfit donned my most favourite pair of Boots with those killer pencil heels and accessorized with a choker and my faux furr clutch that I got from Christmas sales this year.

Hope you liked this last OOTD of the year 2015 and thank you so much for stopping by today.
With a promise to see you real soon with more OOTDs and travel stories in the new year, here is wishing you a Very Very Happy New Year again. As always stay stylish, stay functional.
Love You All

Wanderlust

Heyya Friends!!

How have you been guys?? If you have closely followed me on my social media handles or my previous blogs, you must have known how much I love to travel. Love travelling to the extent that I chose to Travel for a living. What I have learnt from all these years of travel is that, there is a lot lot more to learn from this world, as the experiences and adventures are the best teachers one can have.
Here I would love to encourage all you guys who wants to travel to please go ahead and start travelling, be it any place your own state, your country or any other country. My point is travelling doesn't really mean just going around the world, but to explore even the place that you live. Get the bikes or bicycles out of your garage and just start exploring places and people nearby. Get your train, plane or bus tickets booked and just get going. Coz This world is a whole bunch of experience and travelling is life changing. Start working hard and save every penny you can, so you can travel when you are young and ready to accept challenges. From my experiences the most I can say is that I found myself with my travels and I bet there is a whole lot to explore every single day of my life. The treasure of knowing and loving people from different places, different cultures, different languages is the richest treasure one can have which you can only acquire by travelling.  As St. Augustine has said, I truly believe that "To Travel is To Live".

Today's Blogpost features my journey in blogging in collaboration with VesaIndia. We have worked together before and here we come together once again with their new collection. As I have mentioned earlier they believe in making contemporary outfits with traditional fabrics, click here  and here to read. I have always loved the simplicity of their designs that are trendy and comfortable at the same time, and super easy to style and rock. Featuring today this pair of, much in trend, Black Velvet touch Culottes. The fabric is very comfortable to wear in all kinds of season. The Box Pleat design also gives more room for it to flare at the right place while giving a nice shape and accentuate your waist to bring out those curves. Can be worn for a formal look as I did in today's post, and also can be worn for casual looks by pairing it with tees and flats. For a more Indian Fusion kinda look try pairing it with a singlet or a Crop Top and a pair of nice and colorful Mojris. You can visit their website here and Instagram page here to have a look at their new collection. Ordering and shipment is also very easy and straight forward and they guarantees you quick delivery at your doorstep.

As much as I love my travels, blogging is also one of my passions and would love to go a long way with you guys and learn and reach new goals along with you. Keep loving this going-to-be a year old journey in blogging and help flip a new page everyday from my blog journal.

To conclude today's post I would love to write this quote by an unknown author,
"Wanderlust : an Irresistible Desire to Travel to Understand one's very Existence"

Thank you so much for stopping by today .....
Until next time as I say....keep it stylish......keep it functional

The Great Wall

Happy Monday !!

Next up on blog is a travel post and as the title suggests it is none other than one of the seven wonders of the world The Great Wall of China. This wonder needs no introduction as we all know it is one of the longest walls built along the northern borders of China in bits and pieces way back in the 7th century Bc. Later those walls was joined together to be more stronger and bigger and collectively now it is known as The great Wall of China.

Let's not go too deep into history and just take a moment to appreciate this wonder. A group of friends and I went to the Mutianyu section of the Wall which is almost an hours drive from the Beijing International Airport. Upon reaching Mutianyu there were cable cars to take us up in the hills to the wall. I must tell you the ride was a breathtaking one. Once we reached the hills there was a stair of like 10 to 12 steps that leads you to the wall. From that point the real experience begun. As we walked up the stairs, we were standing on the Wall that I had been wanting to visit from a very long time and finally this was the time that I made it. I couldn't believe how in those days these people had managed to built a wall as huge and as concrete as this up in the hills. I mean just compare today's age and technology to that era when they had manually stood this wonder up. Simply unbelievable.
We had decided to walk towards our left through the watch towers to one of the highest points covering almost a kilometer. As you may see in the pictures this walk to and fro was definitely an adventurous one and a Walk to Remember for a lifetime.

The weather now in Beijing is very pleasant with temperature anywhere between 21 - 31C but with occasional rains. We were lucky enough it was a bright sunny day. Hence I wanted to be comfortable with my outfit and sported these dressy shorts that I got from my last trip to Korea with a printed crop top and a pair of shoes from Primark.

Hope you like this travel post and will come up with more in the coming days as my ever so wandering soul hauls in the next destination.

Until next time ..... keep it stylish....keep it functional

Lots of Love
