That Pink Blazer

Hi my beautiful friends! I was MIA(missing in action) for the last one week i admit, and that's all because of the weather in Kolkata. Heavy rains in those days whenever I plan to shoot. However, now i suppose the rains have stopped and we can enjoy the onset of Fall to the fullest. To enjoy this beautiful and pleasant weather, I took one of my most favorite White Lace-Short out. I love the way how Lace adds that touch of Femininity to the Elegance of White in this pair of shorts. White on White is a  great combination and I can really swear by it. This combination can never go wrong. But just for the sake of my craving for that pop of colour I threw this Pink Boyfriend Blazer on, which i have recently bought from an online store. I am completely in love with this beauty and have already thought of styling it with many other outfits like a denim, or a maxi dress, or a skirt. I think the options are just countless.

Luckily and unintentionally my new Gionee E7 phone also added to my outfit. I am very very happy that i found this little bad boy. Amazing camera, both front and back, which really serves my purpose ;) .

As for my accessories I kept everything connected to Pink, white and Neutrals.

Thank You for reading and until next time as I always believe keep it Stylish.....keep it Functional.

Much Love
Anie.

Blinged Chambray

I Hope everyone had a great week and now its time for some fun Weekend. Talking about having fun, why not start with an Outfit!! Chambray shirts are again such a staple of my wardrobe that I simply love them to the stars and back. One can really style them with literally anything, be it a skirt, a jeans, a maxi dress,....you name it and chambray shirts goes along  with anything.
I think you must love something to have fun out of it. Hence for my outfit i had chosen my Chambray shirt and paired it with a Sequined Skirt and accessorized with golden Bling statement necklaces and a golden Handcuff. I layered two necklaces as you may have noticed under the collar in first few pictures and then in the last few I had put them over the collar. I loved both the looks and couldn't decide on one and hence decided to sport both and let you decide which one you had liked by putting in your comments in this post.

Last but not the least how do i not mention about the Gold Iphone5s in my last picture. I robbed it from my dearest Cameraman Husband to go with my Outfit. I keep robbing his stuff as and when I feel like ;) ......

Untill next time ..... Keep it Stylish..Keep it Functional...
xoxo

Orange Blush

Orange is the New Black. Sounds like a much hyped statement...right? Yes apart from the famous American Drama Series, Orange has literally hit the favorite lists of many. Mine too. To me, it is such a happy colour that it can really uplift your mood, bring that healthy charm and glow to you and your persona.

I think the details of this Skirt is a shout-out again to my Love for Felines, as I mentioned in my previous post (read here). I paired this bold detailed Pencil Skirt with this simple and gorgeous Orange Peplum Top.  Also incorporated an Aztec Print inspired necklace to go with the skirt's details. A thin Belt to accentuate my waist,  and rest of the accessories in Brown Neutrals so that this overall bold outfit  stands out bright.

Untill next time...... Keep it Stylish

A Vintage Affair

My Love for Dresses and Skirts is simply Inexplicable. My shopping cart always has a skirt or a dress (usually both) be it online or over the counters. These days my gravitation towards these pretty chic lady like pleated flared Midi Skirts have increased a lot. I really dream of having one of each kind ever made in this world right in my wardrobe. Sighh... how I wish, right?? Crazy!!
I just love the way how these Skirts, when paired with any staple Shirt or Blouse, transforms my look to an Effortless Chic look. This skirt,in my words is a "Staple Statement Number".
It is such a statement piece of apparel that I would love every girl to own one. I thought of paring this Baby Pink skirt with a white shirt simply because of its subtle colour and elegant aura.To enhance its colour and feminity even further I wore pink lips and nails. For that little contrast i wore a pair of blue shoes. And to put everything together i accessorized this look with a faded golden clutch adorned with floral motifs of all the colours I had on me. I wanted to make this a more of a Statement look by layering two statement neck pieces together and a classic DIY Hair Updo.
To sum up, when I am talking about what i love, how can i not mention how i endear these enigmatic Feline Beauties. Introducing Mr Valentine my most adorable naughty young one, the life of my small little cat family whom i have loved and adored for years. This post is inspired by my affair with these cuties and hence i can say it is a real Vintage Affair in a Vintage style.

Untill next time....keep it Stylish keep it Functional...
Love you all

Anie.

Cape-tivating Story

The most awaited Festive Season of the year by many of us has just arrived with the cutest Lord Ganesha's Worship. He is believed to be the Supreme Deity who Removes Obstacles.

Keeping the Festive Season in mind I thought of styling my outfit for a daytime get together with my friends a little unconventionally. While on one of those Window Shopping trips to a Mall nearby my home, I found this beautiful Kurta on sale for EOSS (End Of Season Sale). And i couldn't hold myself back as it was like a Love-at-First-Sight kinda feeling for this simple yet elegant number. I bought it right away and had already decided in my mind that I would rather style it in an unconventional way. In my Personal Life too i try to find out the endless possibilities of a resource and try to fit in those to where ever applicable.

As this Kurta is so vibrant and full of life I didn't want to disturb its harmony and story by adding more colours and hence i had chosen this chic white Romper/Playsuit to wear under the Kurta. I used my Kurta as a Cape for the very reason that it is a Button Up piece with golden buttons. To accessorize I thought of adding Golden elements to it for that Classic Edge. As for make up i tried to keep everything to the minimum for the time of the day but still went on with those bright lips to compliment my outfit as well as my Accessories. These Golden High Heeled Pumps were perfect for me to elevate the Asymmetrical Balance of Length of both the numbers that I am wearing and to make my legs look longer and toned as the outfit already has a very flowy and dreamy look.

This is the little story for today.......
Untill next time...Keep it stylish...Keep it Functional.
